By visiting the website, Google receives information about which page or subpage of our website you have accessed. Additionally, the data specified in section 3 of this Privacy Policy is also transmitted. This happens regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or if no user account exists. 8. Online advertising

DoubleClick by Google

This website also uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to show advertisements that are relevant to the user, to improve reporting on campaign performance, and to avoid showing ads the user has already seen. Using a cookie ID, Google tracks which advertisements are shown in which browser and so can prevent them from being shown repeatedly. Moreover, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to track conversions relating to advertisement requests. This is the case, for instance, when a user sees a DoubleClick advertisement and then later uses the same browser to visit the website of the advertiser and buys something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies contain no personal information.

Based on the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence over the scope and the further use of data that is collected by Google by using this tool and we therefore inform you according to our information status: By incorporating DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on one of our advertisements. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or you have not logged in, the provider may come to know and store your IP address.

You can prevent your participation in this tracking process in different ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular rejecting third party cookies means that you will not receive any advertisements from third-party providers; b) by disabling interest-related advertisements at Google via http://www.google.com/ads/preferences, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by disabling the interest-related advertisements from the providers who are part of the self-regulated “About Ads” campaign via http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently disabling ad personalization in your Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome browsers via http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Please note that, in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is art. 6 (1) (1) f) GDPR.
